What You'll Need:

Melee Gear:

O If you don't have Lightbearer, use a Ring of Vigour to save special attack energy.

· Karil's Crossbow (Ranged setup for dealing with the Mirrorback Spider minion)

Special Weapon:

· Dragon Warhammer (For reducing Araxur's defence with its special attack)

Inventory Setup:

· Extended Antivenom (To prevent poison from venomous attacks)

· Super Combat Potions (For boosting your combat stats)

· Prayer Potions (To sustain your prayers throughout the trip)

· Food (For combo eating - I recommend Sharks or Rocktails)

· Teleport Tablets (To get to the boss location)

· Divine Rune Pouch (For casting Thral, which boosts your DPS)

The Araxur Fight Mechanics:

Minions:

1. Green Minion - Ignore this one, as it doesn't do much harm.

2. Mirrorback Spider (White Minion) - Use Vengeance to easily deal with this one. Alternatively, switch to Ranged and use a Karil's Crossbow or Heavy Ballista.

3.Red Spider - This one is helpful! If you time it right, the Red Spider will deal 80 damage to Araxur, helping you out during the fight.

 

Getting to Araxur:

You have several options to get to Araxur's lair:

1.Dragon's Medallion - Teleport to the Theater of Blood, then run north to the Spider Cave.

2.Al Kharid Fairy Ring - Use this ring, then run south to the Spider Cave.

3.Spider Cave Teleport (Fastest) - If you have this, simply teleport right into the cave.

Once you're at the cave, make sure to wear Prayer Protection and bring Antipoison as Araxur's minions can deal poison damage.

 

The Fight - What to Do:

When you enter the Spider Cave, the fight begins immediately. Here's my basic strategy:

1.Pre-fight Preparation:

O Activate Protect from Melee prayer as soon as you enter the cave.

O Pot up with Super Combat Potions and Extended Antivenom.

O Use Thral for increased damage.

2.The Battle:

O Start by using your Dragon Warhammer spec on Araxur to reduce its defence.

O Switch to your Abyssal Bludgeon or whichever melee weapon you prefer for the main DPS.

O Avoid special attacks! Araxur will occasionally send out poison puddles. Move out of the way to avoid damage.

O Deal with the White Spider Minion using Vengeance or Ranged.

O The Red Spider can be used to deal damage to Araxur by running away from it at the right time.

O Keep an eye on your Prayer and use Prayer Potions when needed.

3.Final Phase:

O As Araxur gets to its final phase, move out of the way of its poison attacks.

O At this point, you can focus solely on damage while making sure to avoid the poison puddles.

O After you kill Araxur, loot the drops, and prepare for the next kill!

During my 10-hour session of killing Araxur, I completed 248 kills and earned about 11.5 million GP in loot. However, the real money comes from landing the Arachite Fang or the Halberd parts.

· Halberd Parts - When combined, these create the Noxious Halberd, which is worth 47 million GP on the Grand Exchange.

· Arachite Fang - Used to craft the Amulet of Rancor, worth 63 million GP.

· Miscellaneous Drops - You'll also get alkable items like runes, seeds, and rare drops that can be useful for your account or if you're an Ironman.
